Tattoos are being put on faster than any other time in history. According to a recent Harris Poll, 1 out 4 adults have at least one tattoo (25%).

And 2 out of those 4 want their tattoo either covered-up, redesigned and/or removed.

How It Works

Tattoos are created by putting ink into the deep dermis layer of the skin. The Tattoo Removal process uses a laser to target and shatter the ink within the skin. The shattered ink is then dispelled naturally from the body via the lymphatic system.

Specific laser wavelengths are needed to target specific colors of ink. WTXMA utilizes the Q-Plus technology from Quanta, with the MDK platform system - the highest performance tattoo removal laser on the market, period. The MDK is the ONLY true three wavelength Q-switched system available in the world, making it possible to treat vibrant tattoo colors; no tattoo needs to be turned away. The MDK has a Nd:YAG 1064nm for dark pigmented ink such as black and dark blue, and Nd:YAG 532nm for reds and oranges. Additionally, the MDK is the only laser that utilizes Optibeam Technology which allows the energy from the laser to be delivered evenly across the treated area. The beam from the laser is square shaped to ensure no part of the tattoo is over treated because of overlapping.

The MDK effectively removes black, purple, yellow, dark green, dark blue, orange and red tattoo pigment with the lowest risk of texture changes and scarring. Laser tattoo removal uses short pulses of highly focused energy consisting of light wavelengths and energy directed at tattoo ink under the skin. The laser heats up the ink particles and breaks them into smaller pieces. The Quanta Q-Plus is the ONLY true three wavelength Q-switched system available in the world.

West Texas Medical Aesthetics has a certified laser technician who has the experience, training, and tools required to treat all skin types and tattoo colors.
